Traveling
I'm at the Kansas City Intl Airport, writibg via my Treo. WiFi here is $6.95 a day, my Sprint phone is free. Posting this courtesy of Radio's mail to aggregator feature.
With the sponsors out of the way... :)
This is my second post 9/11 trip on a plane--the first was uneventful, this one feels different. I was asked to remove my shoes, belt and jacket. I was then led to a side area where they scanned me from head to toe *twice* while at the same time inspected my laptop. Both security people were polite, but desensitized to people. The would ask me questions at the same time and when I became confused, would ask me again within a few seconds. Frustated, all I could do was smile.
On the other hand, there's not a chance that a terrorist would deal with that as well. Imagine what space travel will be like ("Sir please remove you oxygen pack...")
