Sales Engineer

Duties: Design and manage the implementation of large and small technology projects including telephony systems, local-area networks, wide-area networks and basic network security. Assist sales staff with solution development. Manage projects post-sale including scheduling resources, ordering products and equipment and delivering training to staff and end-users as required.

Details: Key individual that helped CenturyTel finalize a partnership with Cisco to sell and implement telephony products. Primary designer of Avaya IP Office telephony equipment sales for south Missouri district. Chosen to evaluate new design software solution for sales engineers company wide. Developed and implemented sales engineer task tracking system using Salesforce web-based sales force automation software.

Design Engineer

Duties: Design and coordinate the installation of advanced IP telephony networks, firewalls, email and content filters and network-attached storage devices.

Details: Work directly with IT staff and client corporate management to design and implement IP telephony solutions including application infrastructure such as call centers, voicemail routing and unified messaging. Design and implement basic and advanced IP networks using routers, switches and intelligent layer-based routing. Construct primary design bill of materials, coordinate engineering review, write project scope of work and provide installation assistance as needed.  Attend customer meetings with account managers as needed. Conduct weekly training seminars on products for staff and DaZZee customers.

Duties: Design and coordinate the installation of voice and data networks for small and medium size business customers. Maintain the sales-related customer relationships for over 400 Springfield-based customers. 

Details: Customer and staff primary point of contact for technical questions and training. Travel to customer locations to consult with management, executives and staff about NuVox products and solutions. Design and layout potential customer voice and data networks, integrating NuVox products with existing equipment and customer goals. Work with local technology vendors to smoothly transition customers from incumbent providers to the NuVox digital network. Extensive troubleshooting with large and small voice and data networks.
